You can honor a deceased loved one or mark an important event in someone’s life by donating funds to purchase a book in his or her name. The person who has everything will appreciate your thoughtfulness and the library will also be grateful when one or more books are purchased to mark a birthday or anniversary. A memorial bookplate specifying the names of the donor and the person being honored is placed in each book.

The minimum donation is $25 and you may specify a particular subject or author. The person being honored (or the family) and the donor will be sent letters of acknowledgement once the memorial books are ordered. The Memorial Donation form asks for the following information: • Name of the person to be honored • The occasion • The name & address where an acknowledgement should be sent • Name and address of the donor (you) • The amount being donated • Suggested subjects or authors to be purchased.
