Teens ages 13-18 are invited to join us for a Teen Club Meeting, followed by games! The meeting from 4-5 p.m. counts as 1 hour of volunteer time.

"Project: You" Self-Confidence Program

Tuesday, June 7, 6-7 p.m., Ages 15-Adult, Community Event Room

Girls and women ages 15 and older are invited to grow their self-confidence through a program designed by the current Mrs. Cumberland County, Rachelle Molyneaux. Project: YOU is designed to help you dive deep into knowing yourself and growing self confidence in order to use your unique talents to help your community! As one of the 50% of Americans who have suffered the effects of emotional abuse, Rachelle understands what it's like to feel unworthy and has started the campaign of "You Are Worth It," helping to instill self-confidence in people of all ages so that everyone can grow the courage to use their individual gifts and talents to make a difference in their communities. Rachelle will be competing in the Mrs. NJ America pageant in Atlantic City on June 4. Should she win, she will be competing for the prestigious title of Mrs. America in August.

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to join our own resident Dungeon Master, Mr. Juni, for a D & D adventure. No previous playing experience is required.

ONE UP Games Open Game Play

Monday, June 13, 4-7 p.m., ages 9-Adult, Community Event Room

Join us for our video game free play event, hosted by Massachusetts eSport and gaming venue, One Up Games! Explore virtual worlds with the Oculus Quest, or play the latest titles on Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch! The program is funded by a Community Development Block Grant through the City of Vineland.

Teens ages 13-18 are invited to enjoy the library's Teen Room. Use the computers, play games, play Rock Band on our old Xbox 360, make a craft in the Maker Space, or just hang out with your friends.

Vineland Library Receives Community Development Block Grant

 
 Teen Room Maker Space

The library has a Teen Room where local teens can hang out after school. The room features computers, study tables and comfortable seating. Talking and eating are permitted in this room. Check signage on the door for our hours!

The Teen Room now features a Maker Cart full of craft supplies, including a button-maker, for art or school projects. The room also features three new computes and HUE Animation software for teens who would like to make their own short movies. Come visit our Teen Room and make a project! The Maker Cart, new computers and animation software were funded by a Community Development Block Grant through the City of Vineland.

Vineland Public Library receives grant for Teen Room

The Vineland Public Library Children’s and Young Adult Department recently received a $4,000 Community Development Block Grant through the City of Vineland. This is the fifth year that the library has received this grant.

The funds will be used to fund library programming.
