Children ages 3-5 and their caregivers are invited to Preschool Story Time. Enjoy stories, songs and other fun activities and/or crafts geared towards children ages 3-5.
Craft supplies are funded by a Community Development Block Grant through the City of Vineland.

JOIN US FOR STORIES, ACTIVITIES, LEGOS AND/OR CRAFTS related to the theme "Oceans of Possibilites." Themes for each week are listed below. Please select all of the dates that you will attend. While these programs are targeted for ages 6-8 years old, you may register a child of a different age if you think these programs are more appropriate for them.

Illustrator Rick Stromoski's popular Virtual Cartooning Class returns for a second time this summer! This time, children ages 8 and older and teens are invited to learn how to draw dinosaurs!
Monarch Family Success Center of Vineland will present "Let's Draw Dinosaurs" with award-winning cartoonist and humorous illustrator Rick Stromoski. Learn how to draw all things Jurassic!
The program will be held via Zoom. Please have lots of paper and pencils or pens handy!
This virtual program is being funded by the Inspira Monarch Family Success Center of Vineland. Information provided is shared with the Monarch Family Success Center of Vineland to help them continue to receive funding to provide programs like this for the community.
The Vineland Public Library is hosting the program on Zoom. The cost for this license is being paid for by American Rescue Plan Act funds administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Tuesday, August 9 from 6-7 p.m.
Digger the Dog puppet gets in trouble in this story inspired by Strega Nona. A prize drawing for books will immediately follow the program. Book prizes are jointly funded by a Community Development Block Grant through the City of Vineland, the Friends of the Vineland Public Library, and Gardner Financial Planning.
This program is funded by the Monarch Family Success Center of Vineland. Information from this form will be shared with Monarch Family Success Center so that they can continue funding programs like these.

Interested in how to get started as an animator? Want to learn the secrets of how your favorite cartoons come to life? Join Library Volunteers Lexi Rodriguez and Izabel Garcillano as they show you the basic skills to be an animator, from making model sheets of your own characters to creating storyboards! This program is most beneficial to participants who can attend every week.
Week 1 (July 14)
Draw yourself in different styles and learn about how this medium came to be the form of entertainment we know and love today!
Week 2 (July 21)
Make a model sheet for your own character and learn about the importance of good character design!
Week 3 (July 28)
What is storyboarding? How do you do it? Come find out!
Week 4 (August 4)
Pair up and make a mini stop-motion film!
Week 5 (August 11)
Show off your stop-motion film and chill out with some animated short films!
Week 6 (August 18)
Celebrate your hard work with Kahoot! Win prizes!

Teens are invited to show off their improv skills! We will have fun prompts available for those wishing to improvise fun scenes with the group.

Teens are invited to wear comfortable clothes and learn the basics of parkour on an indoor obstacle course with instructors from Pinnacle Parkour of Washington Township. This program is funded by a Community Development Block Grant through the City of Vineland.

Teens are invited to perform at our "Smoothie" House, which is a Coffeehouse with cold beverages for the summer! Read a poem, sing a song, play an instrument, or show off any talent you have! Or, just enjoy the show and some delicious snacks!

Teens are invited to solve a series of puzzles for prizes to “escape” from the library!
